Amy's Story

Amy Brunson was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in Dec 2007. It became evident that Amy would be a candidate for a stem cell transplant. This procedure is very expensive and even with medical insurance there are significant non-reimbursable costs. A fundraising campaign has been established with the National Transplant Assistance Fund to help defray uncovered expenses. Feel free to pass this information along to people you know who would be interested in supporting Amy. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.
Our relation to Amy is through her brother, Adam, who is our pastor to small groups at our church. We attended a fundraiser for Amy last night where we saw Indiana Jones. I'm sure my numbers are a little off, but she needs to raise about 25K and I think we raised a little over 9K last night!
